Bermie not my year

We drove to bermie Thursday last week, 9 hours towing the boat. Dave came early he had a few jobs to do on his boat.
We hit the water and headed north up past the kink fri a massive bait ball seals smashing them but there was probably 30 boats working it pitching baits mayhem we decided to slow troll livies around it Dave picked up 2 marlin we got nothing. Sat and Sunday we pulled lures and teasers for 4 marlin coming and have a look 2 hookups but none landed.
Monday the boys wanted a rest and the wind was up a bit. A few drinks and chance to do some maintenance.
Tuesday was one of the best days I have had on the water we decided to head south for a change. We pulled teasers with livies in the slimey tubes ready to switch if a marlin comes up on the teasers we saw some seals working we pulled in the teasers and headed over as we got there an edencraft cut me off he pitched his baits and bang he was on dam I said as we followed the seals. On the third bait ball we came across we could see marlin following the seals we pitched our baits and we are on we got Griggsy in the harness this was his first trip and he was on after about 45 minutes we had it along side a few photos and we released it.
I will have to add the photos later due my phone has gone us.
We moved on found another bait ball with more marlin on it than I have ever seen we were hooked up 5 more times once a free jumping marlin took out the line then a seal got the line the other 3 the hooks pulled. It was frustrating but at the same time the best and exciting way to fish just follow the seals working the bait you can see the marlin all lit up following you have to pitch your baits at the back of the seals but in front of the marlin you can see them taking the baits exciting stuff.
Today the wind is up so we are making rigs etc the weather looks good for the next few days and we can’t wait to get back on the water.
