Apollo bay
Hey guys just wondering if there's any regular Apollo bay fisho's that have a crack at the barrels? I have been going down to port macdonnell regularly for the past month and bagging out on school fish and dropped a barrel  But the 7 1/2 drive is an absolute killer, Apollo bay is only 4 hours for me from home but I have never fished there before. I'm not asking for trade secrets to the place but more just safety ie. weather conditions favourable winds etc. and what kind of distance your heading out to have a crack. I have a V19C with a 150 on the back.
Cheers Rohan
Hope to see you out with line peeling some dat

From my very very limited experience.
yes, appollo bay, Port fairy, Portland etc are all considered as tuna hot spots for victoria.
we lost a barrel at portland few weeks ago.
do a search man, heaps of posts done on Tuna in the last month alone.
