That sucks. Is the water still discoloured around Flinders? Or are they just too busy bonking to be bothered taking a jig?

Pulled the pin on the western entrance with a light Northerly and an outgoing tide? What was bad about it?

It wasn't northerly down there, mind it is my first time. To venture down that way.

Once you're past bouy 5 it generally flattens out alot. If by the fairway it's become worse and around the back of the island looks no better then it's pull pin time. Nothing wrong with some hangtime going past mchaffies

Smack on. Can see some nasty rollers around middle bank and at mchaffies and it be fine outside.

Stick on the west side of the shipping channel (bouys 14, 12 etc) and just take it easy, no point banging yourself to hard when you're heading a lot further afield. The Concorde is perfectly fine to do it.

It's very rarely flat around mchaffies and if you pull the pin there every time you'll hardly ever head out further
