Looks like a killer spot Dougie. I once did a day trip to Mallacoota (16 hours in the car, 8 hours fishing...0 hours sleep) and all I managed was a 10cm bream jagged in the back. We're sick bastards us fisho's

That is a top effort, I bet Im old enough to be your Grandpa but I gotta say..... I have been in your position many times. When it happens it makes it all worthwhile and so much better.
Buy a tiny back packers stove, couple of tins baked beans, loaf of bread and cheese slices, saves heaps. Buy your coffee in a tube, you get used to it.
I used to split the bread up so it packs easier.

Cheers.....ThomasG

Ditch the coffee entirely and just scoff handfuls of NoDoze. Bonus points.....(No Bonus points  that was going a bit to far. Thanks, Brett)

Dougie's trip could have been a killer trip ! instead it did not produce, any fishy looking spot is miss or hit when the information is not available.

Every spot produces certain species at different times of the season / year, as far as LBG is concerned we Victorians are disadvantaged compared to other states, the distance for Victorians to drive to is very restrictive.

If we were closer to descent ledges you'd be there every weekend and start a diary, you would have the place wired in 12 months with constant captures.

So as Douglass has found out it's gotta be done the hard way, lots of petrol, travelling time, little fishing time.

I don't blame dougie for being secretive about any successful spot he may find, considering what he has to put in.

It gets to be an obsession after a while so you have to admire dougie for his persistence.

LBG is hard hard work.

Given some recent posts on here and incredibly rude PM's to long term members, I won't be discussion locations. If you do somehow figure out where I am please keep it too yourself under the penalty of death by couta insertion....tail first.
Can someone PM where this killer spot is.

Many thanks.
