That footage is inspiring, take out all sorts of life insurance, attach floaties and cast away!

I used to surf & crossing the rocks going out & coming in was a bit hairy at times but at least you could time the sets and wait for lull, these guys either love pain or are just crazy!

They must be surfers as well. Looks like they trust themselves in the water. I like how in the end his mate falls in and he starts screaming, jumping in and grabbing the rod first....ha ha. Tried some rock fishing in India a few months back. Very hairy how all looks calm, them............bang

Are you guys kidding??? There's nothing amazing about being absolutely stupid!

Problem is, these kids will keep feeling like they're bulletproof (and apparently lauded for it) until the excrement hits the fan.

I had a group of guys from high school with a similar bulletproof attitude and ended up thinking they could take a swim at any ocean beach. All it took was a rip tide, a bad wave, a moment a panic, and they were dragging they're friend back to shore by his hair. Dead at 17 - no turning back.

Makes me sick to see these guys think they're 'above' the dangers of the ocean.

mate i have a feeling these guys no what theyre doing, its a type of fishing that is done by people who accept the risks of what is involved its their choice, same as people who do track days they only endanger themselves, sure its not for everyone but it can be hugely rewarding if you pick the right conditions!
The fishing was good; it was the catching that was bad
The gods do not deduct from man's allotted span the hours spent in fishing
