Heading out to Wilsons Prom for a long weekend this weekend & wanted to do some surf fishing with the wife from Norman's Bay as Tidal River is closed due to flood damage.

I've heard reports of good Salmon & Gummy fishing from there, but having never tried salt water fishing in Vic I'm not sure what gear I should be using.

Would you be able to recommend the gear setup & bait I should use for Salmon & Gummys from there or if anyone else has reports of something else good in the area I'd like to hear that too
