I was at the hastings boat ramp the other day cleaning my big leatherjackets which I had caught from flinders. Id guess they were about 3 kg. Very suprised to see them that big. I was happy with myself and was talking to a guy at the ramp who told me not to bother going all the way to flinders for big leatherjacket. Go to an area called "the bommies" or something similar. This is apparently near Point Leo and he says the Leatheries are just as big. Anyone have any idea on where this place is?
