Only thing I have caught is a crab in the last 4 weeks.

would have to agree. It's hard to explain why it has gone so quiet in June 2011.

This time last year we were bagging out on squid, but this year have caught doughnuts a few times.

It's July now so the fishing can only go uphill from here.

The days are getting longer, so fishing can only get better :-)

Yeah . I know what you mean. Today I went fishing at the williamstown rock pier and the warmies with a paternoster rig and I started off with squid as bait then went to marinated chicken. We fished for a while and there was nothing so then we went to the marribinong river and still nothing. It wasn't the best day to fish either because it was really windy and cold. Hopefully they come back on the bite soon. :)
