Victorian Fishing guide only in hard copy??????

Post by Clumpy » Wed Jun 22, 2011 9:35 am

Not sure why they have decided to only make hard copies or viewable only on the web

It would be great to be able to keep a copy of the latest Victorian Fishing guide on my phone..... handy if you forget what a minimum size is, or if you havent got the latest hard copy in the boat.

I know i could use my phone to view it via the web, but we cannot always rely on good reception...... i don’t need to talk about how awesome Vodafone's reception is :wall:

Anyone know of any electronic verisons?
An angler is a man who spends rainy days sitting around on the muddy banks of rivers doing nothing because his wife won't let him do it at home.

I'm actually working it all out at the moment. Have to create a plan and structure of how it would all work.

I can program in C,C#, Java and the following scripting languages - HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and a few others.

I might just create a dedicated VIC guide first, but then MAYBE move on to implementing other states.. maybe.. just have so much going on right now!

Edit: And this is going to be for jailbroken iPhones, because I'm not paying $99 to Apple for a licence to release something on the App Store.

If you can get your hands on the source code, pass it here :D

I just hope it's not a Web Application, and that it is a proper Application.
