Silver Trevally

Post by fishhead » Mon Jun 20, 2011 3:26 pm

I've looked through this forum and can't find any reports on Silver Trevally.
I'd like to know what baits people are using.

Pretty much everything people say, I prefer to use plastics though. :)

I use soft plastics and i have a pretty good hook up rate, i use camo worms or ecogear grass minnows on the surface

I have always had great success on the Silver Trevally with Gulp Turtleback worms in the Pumpkin seed colour.

Also caught a few landbased on a simple fresh piece of chicken breast :whoh:

This Silver Trevally was caught in Queenscliff land based.
