I found squid tough between wedge n long reef....but there were plenty of squid not even 1k from Werribee ramp :rofl:
Bagged out on flatties, tried for gars for a bit after that but didn't get any hits on the float. I had a squid bait under a float for most of the day as I was drifting but that didn't get hit either, even though I saw some decent weed patches on the sounder. Still a good day, I was surprised at how hard they were hitting given the water temp. Had a triple hookup at one stage.

Ok, maybe not on your own then.
I don’t think mum would be too keen.
Maybe there are some blokes on here who have boats who would be happy if you went with. I guess transport is your issue then.
