Checked out nipple tip rod, feels/ seems like they would be to soft for squid fishing...?

It came with a spare tip (Southern Sportsfishing), but you can also buy spares (with different action/flex) which is handy. I also love a full grip which is getting harder to find with lighter rods these days.

I wouldn't use it for any type of lure fishing.

They are designed for bait fishing and sensitive nibble detection.....

My go to rod down here is Shimano Raider Soft Plastic 3-5kg. With 2500 stradic

But I like the feel of the Shimano cranx sitting in the rack I like better but too good to use while I have the raider out.

Similar to ducky for me, my egi rod is the best all rounder.

Not a bad ting rod but they're a little fragile, I'm too scared to use my other one now :down:

My fav's are Ugly Stik SP761LFT's, 7'6" single piece, light and whippy, perfect for KGW etc. They can handle big rays without exploding all over the place.
