Paternoster rig length
Greetings and festive season best wishes!
I have a question about Paternoster rig length and in particular the length of leader between the sinker and the bottom dropper.
I do most of my drift fishing in the northern and western sections of PPB and want to present the baits at the the most effective distance from the bottom.
Any recommendations?
cheers

Re: Paternoster rig length
Loop only snap on main line
20cm down tie loop 15 to 20cm long
Them from first loop put sinker slider 20 to 30cm to swivel
Then from swivel 30cm leader to hook
I find with feel more bites this way over standard paganoster rig

Re: Paternoster rig length
Thanks Denis
Do you use a slightly heavier paternoster rig when dri9fting for flatties?
Cheers

Re: Paternoster rig length
Puts both hooks closer to the bottom so if the fish eat one they can see the other one.
I use to use the standard rigs but noticed the top hook wasn't getting touched as often and was coming up still with bait on it.
