I've used FCR 8lbs and imo it's not very good at all. Seems sooooo easy to break. Even in terms of 8lbs. Feels like it should be rated half the strength than it actually is...

I dunno, that's how I feel anyhow. Maybe I got a dodgy batch?

Thanks guys looks like a much cheaper alternative to the crazy priced pellets at the fish store

Just get chook pellets in grain stores and soak them in tuna oil.

Cheap. Effective.

I've been buying the 250m spools of Berkley fluoro and never had an issue. It's heaps cheaper than the 20m spools of Black Magic or whatever.
