Warneet Pier 2018

Postby Ruben1014452 » Thu Feb 22, 2018 5:35 pm

I'm new to fishing at warneet and i was wondering if i can get a few tips about fishing here. the things I would like tips on include

- best bait to use and how I should hook the bait

- can you use lures. if so what type

- what kind of fishing rig should I use. my set up i will be using is a 7.6foot rod and a 6000 reel

- what kind of tackle should I be using. e.g.. hooks, sinkers

-should I use Berley. if so what should I use

- and finally what fish can I expect to catch

Thank you all in advance :fish22:

I've been down there a few times.
All I've caught were toadies on prawns, and trevally on the plastics.

Used the zman 3inch minnowz in Opening Night and Bad Shad. Paired with a 1/4oz jighead and 1/0 hook

Yep, cast it out, let it sink to the bottom, wait 5 secs, two flicks of the rod. Rinse and repeat

Usually mullet around. Fish small hooks under a float with snall pilchard chunks, on a falling tide
