Anyone know how this is fishing at the moment? Any whiting about?

Any chance of gummies in that area?

Hi Bowl, what sort of bottom do you look for for the gummies? Are they in the same depths as the whiting or deeper?

Never caught a good gummy in PPB

Ive usually struck small gummies when drifting for flatties in around 6m or so, flat bottom light weed patches. I'm thinking wedge spit drop off would be a likely spot?

Got them from two meters to 8,either side of werribee mouth.
Got them as bycatch when kgw whiting fishing.

UssalY do not burly if targeting gummy as salmon n trevally chunk bait does that for ya.
Ussaly paternosta style rig, keep baits of bottom n away from banjo....

Hopefully be back on watee within a week .
