is it worth taking the boat out tomorrow?
hi
with the day off tomorrow,im thinking taking the boat out but its blowing 13knots?
where abouts should i go?
live in pakenham so any thoughts around crib point

Personally I wouldn't go. This time of year the fishing isn't fast enough for anything less than perfect conditions for me.
If you do go, Depends a bit on your boat, you don't want an open boat in the cold wind. 13knots can be uncomfortable even with a cabin due to the swinging in the gusts at anchor. NW wind can be a pain in WP too. If you look for an outgoing tide and can hug up against a north or western bank you should be able to keep your bow into the wind for more comfort. Maybe bridle the anchor rope to stop swinging around. up some of the top end channels like tooradin or even over the other side of frenchy, launch at corinella and head up towards Jam Jerrup but stay in the lee of the island.

13 knots is fine if you have some expetience.
