Haha i took my rod out of the car and laughed at the hook. I didnt feel the fish bite but it just lipped him. Ive seen some amazing flukes while fishing the fresh water but i thought what i was doing while fishing the salt was normal. Dunno what i was thinking using what i would call "big game hooks".. little pier 8 shop said those hooks would be fine haha she must of thought i was after sharks

I remember a time when my mate was fishing double 5/0 octopus hooks with a full pillie in the hope of catching a big red and a 46 cm KGW hooked up lol yours beats that :rofl:
