Agree, the amount of work to get very little flesh from a Banjo or PJ is not worth it in my opinion, i release them unharmed. :cheers:poodoo wrote: never again.....too much work.

I've often thought about trying them , I go up to Brunswick heads a fair bit in northern nsw and catch plenty of shovel nose rays and they r beautiful on the chew . I would assume they would taste similar , but does seem a waste as what u end up keeping isn't a lot for the size of the fish .
