Got back a while ago, tried for some salmon off a couple of beaches on the way back but got bugger all.

Pretty good weekend apart from the weather and the fishing. Might bring some ear plugs next time though

nah, I think one of the fishing club members must have left them behind, they were siting on the bunk when we arrived

No fish photos, the snapper that was caught was only about 2.5kg so I didn't bother. The only photo I got was of the table full of empty stubbies.

Here's hoping the weather plays along a bit better next time!

I'm just spewin pete kept cleaning the table off of all the empties haha we nearly filled the 240 litre bin I reckon we'd have covered that table with ease.. there's always next year ;)

Had the weekend 1 week too early I think gav.

Got out this afternoon with the boss and his kid, we smashed The snapper to 8kg, even had a few double headers on the patanoster rig :a_goodjob:

Love Port Albert and is close to home, I'm also a member of a fishing club, the Italian Australian fishing club in Morwell. On our last club run to Port Albert we actually stayed in Yarram, details about these cabins would be great. Excellent fish including monster flathead and stonker whiting where caught.
