Getting rid of the netters and putting more artificial reefs in is a more logical idea to increase stocks! What's the use though if there aren't enough ramps and piers to allow people access?

I would rather see our dollars spent on fresh water, our bay fish are migratory and visit the bay for spawning and leave, only a few stragglers stay for the winter, any fish they introduce will leave with the wild fish, if they want to spend money on salt water then put in artificial reefs or maybe build more piers !

Yeah, I think more piers and launching facilities would be a great investmenthornet wrote:I would rather see our dollars spent on fresh water, our bay fish are migratory and visit the bay for spawning and leave, only a few stragglers stay for the winter, any fish they introduce will leave with the wild fish, if they want to spend money on salt water then put in artificial reefs or maybe build more piers !

Toadfish are an important part of the diet of gummies and snapper, they should probably stock a few million more of them. Especially with all the flogs who kill the ones they catch, the stocks could use some replenishment.

Holy **** yes please!!!!! Those things are gnarly!
But in all seriousness jewies would be your best bet I reckon as they don't migrate out of our bays offshore. However a buy back of netting licenses should be our top priority imho
