Ive caught a few off pt wilson...but not on purpose

hey guys i know old thread but its bloody annoying me like crazy!! ive tried it all! little HB and sp! but i cant bloody tempt them!

Was at flinders and there was a huge one breaking the water but i just couldnt get him to strike , didnt seem interested!

Can you guys maybe post some pics of the lures and explain technique ? thanks so much in advance guys!

I've got a few slow rolling zman slim swimz past them but I've found that sometimes they won't take anything

yeah i find it very hard to tempt them into striking the lure!i might try just throwing a fly lure out next time

i've only ever gotten one hit at a time out of any given pike. usually they won't look at the same lure twice for me

bar one pike which hit my plastic 3 times before hooking up I'm the same, and I put that down to a very hungry anomaly

Use garfish, pike can't resist them, one night I threw every lure I had at a school of them under the pier lights while they were chasing gars, a guy came along and used a chunk of garfish he caught earlier and caught 4 one after the other.
