Ive caught tailor from warmies, station pier, lagoon pier, webb dock and princess pier and in the docks during winter. Havent caught any this year mainly due to lack of fishing opportunity :down:

Most likely they will fire up at the warmies soon. Unlikely they will get to the size of yesteryear after the mass slaughter from a few years back :evil:

I have caught Tailor around Lagoon Pier and at the Warmies during the winter months.

They need to be bled straight away and eaten within 24 hours in my opinion.

They taste great (no too fishy)

Yeah, i been hitting the warmies lately, nut nothing. For some reason the apparently elusive Mulloway is being easily caught, but no Tailor yet. Power station has been running for around 3 weeks now.

I'm not a big fish eater, but that Tailor was really nice! Like Creme said, the quicker you bleed them the better it will taste

How do you bleed a fish? (Not that I'll ever need to know as I'm now 7 and 0 for sea fishing) lol

I assume releasing the blood aids the taste as it stops it from spoiling easily?

As with most animals, you want the blood out of the meat.
