Re: lang lang great news.
Do you know what Gummies are doing in the shallow end of Westernport ( Lang Lang )
they are feeding on Crabs and Mantis srimp
do your self a favour and head to ether Coles or Safeway and get some food grade Banana Prawn
Prawn must smell like crab or srimp
they are the go to bait for the whole muddy end of the port most of the guys I fish with up that way use little else
and Snapper take them to
by the way it also works at Tenby - Granville - Stockyard or LL

Re: lang lang great news.
Make sure the prawns are Australian and not an import -- the Banana prawn are Ozzy and are cheap but other prawns work just as wellfishballistix wrote:What about tiger prawn. And thanks mate? Skin and head on or off?
guys use different ways of baiting them - I head tail and shell them and depending on hook size just cut the meat to size
ie -- a 5/0 or 6/0 you can get 2 baits per prawn where as an 8/0 normaly take the whole prawn meat
