Re: how do i handle poisonous fish?
Soldier fish don't get that big(although they are supposed to reach 22cm), largest I have ever come across would be 15cm and that's including in commercial trawl nets.
Be careful with flatty flickers, I've seen some not so bright people actually have the fish flick off towards their body and get spined in the stomach/neck and upper arm area.

Cool. Learn something every day
For handling I just use lipgrips and long surgical forceps - my standard de-hooking kit. Only come across soldier fish so far as nasties go.
