Well dad had a day off yesterday but wasnt told about it till it was time for him to go to work, so decided to go fishing instead, well got out there late and it was mid morning.... only managed a 2.5kg and it was hard work all day til 7pm...

Today dad knew he had the day off so the plan was to hit our old mark off carrum early! Well we where on the spot by 5am. Got our 6 and back to Pt cook for a few quick drifts to see if we could find some squid... No love from the squids but 6 snaps up to 5.1kg. They are still really finicky and bite like nibbles not mad runs straight off the bat! Sort off like need to watch those tips and nibble nibble, strike hard and than it would run hard...lol

Was a magic morning spent with my father... enjoyed it as we havent had a fish together in a while...
Fish are out there just very timid atm....

Well 21.10 took my uncles out to prop their cherries... Got them both on the fish but only 2.5kg. All up we only managed 4 but they are rapt! Fished off Carrum....

22.10
Decided I wanted bigger fish... This time we hit Northern Port Phillip Bay... Was home and washed by 9am. We got our 6 @ 3.5kg to 5kg... Used pillies and fished two spots, in close before sunrise for an hour, nothing so pulled the pin to head in med depth off water and this is where the hotebite was... in no time we where bagged...

 :Dribble: I will dismantle my bath tub and use it to fish in Carrum. Any tips where I can attach the transducer?
