Re: 2014 Snapper reports
Yeah the snapper seem to be slower in PPB than the last cpl of years(which have been bumper years). I hate it when fish bite the tails off sp worms. Its pretty much the most important part of the sp so you need to replace the whole thing My tip to get legal pinkies landbased is to find good structure in 2-5m of water, berley and fish fresh baits on light rods casting to the structure. Ive been doing this style of fishing landbased for years and will catch fish right throughout the day providing tides are good. Best time is hightide/sunset combo usually. Structure in this instance can be a pier, reef, channel drop off, wreck etc..purple5ive wrote:things are quite slow from what ive seen this year, they snapper are still in spawning mode i believe, lets hope they stop getting up to mischief and start eating soon..

My favourite yak spot at blackrock is less than 200m from the ramp. You can easily cast(if your J Schrader or any of the ASF guys) to the reef area from the rockwall. Oh damm, I gave away a good spot!!! :doh1:
