Went 5 times for nothing even went with my maltise mate who has been slaying them and still got none F the snapper im going on the trout trophy browns at purrumbete.

Im going out for a full day of fishing on thursday for my brithday and im just wondering where abouts the snapper are?
And what baits are delivering the goods?

Has anyone heard if the snapper have come back on the bite in ppb, or are they still shut down spawning.

Got these today from an undisclosed metro beach just after lunch. Caught over 20 fish in 2 hrs, all pinkies. stopped fishing at 1530.
When I got time,
I wet a line cos Im a junkie,
been fishin since a kid,
I like it cos it numbs me..
