St Kilda must have had all the luck (had to motor all the way down to bloody Frankston to find something though) Got this on a snapper snatcher with 1/2 pilchards @ 20 mts on the change of tide at midday

Yeah, somewhere between 60/70cm....Had something similar sized 10 minutes before that, but it bit through the trace.

Havent been able to get out at all the last month and a bit frustrating seeing the reports stoked for Sam though he's smashing them.

Just snapper yesterday. Not sure where to find squid at willi. And the flatties seem to be getting smaller every week.

We moved around a fair bit between p2, footy ground, altona bay, barely lost any bait. I'm new to this boating gig so maybe I'm just doing it wrong or maybe my expectations are too high reading all the success stories on social media.

Anyway, forecast looks good for another crack next Saturday at my local werribee. Hopefully, I have more luck then.

That’s a nice fish mate.
No luck for me again. Launched at 3 am from st kilda and headed straight for the 16 m mark at black rock. Then moved out to 17m. Headed in shallow and picked up 6 squid then back out but no snappers. Will be giving it another go soon :)
