I think everyone knows that mate. However, not everyone is a fan of putting in countless hours in cold conditions to catch one... I know im not, even though i did get reward for effort recently with some nice 4 & 5.6kg reds off the rocks.

People are just buzzing about the weather changing and the fishing turning on hot again, myself included.

Still seeing 5+kg frames down at the cleaning bays at the ramp and few guys I keep an eye on still drag them in all year just not as bigger numbers but at least this time of year you don’t have to complete with 4 million peanuts racing out and all anchoring up on top of each other which ***** me to tears

Got a few around just under 5kg last month as bicatch, they don’t really interest me that much iam keen on the gummies
