mullet

anybody use mullet for snapper bait and much success i know its good for mullaway

Never had much luck with Mullet compared to Trevally, Salmon or Yakka's, im sure if a hungry red swam past it wouldn't pass it up though.

Snapper will eat anything if there on the bite or if nothing g else around

Bit off topic but i caught my biggest gummy on a parrotie fillet...
Ive tried almost every undesirable fish for bait. Yakkas small couta and slimy mackerel are my favourite.

I dont call salmon medium to big couta and trevally undesirable as they are some of my favourite eating fish

Just think if you like it what does fish think of it.

I like eating Trevally also but the results of it on the hook are too good
