Never had much luck with Mullet compared to Trevally, Salmon or Yakka's, im sure if a hungry red swam past it wouldn't pass it up though.

Bit off topic but i caught my biggest gummy on a parrotie fillet...
Ive tried almost every undesirable fish for bait. Yakkas small couta and slimy mackerel are my favourite.
I dont call salmon medium to big couta and trevally undesirable as they are some of my favourite eating fish
