Awesome mate, great post! I usually fish for mulloway in the smaller part of the warmies, where the water is pumped out - never seen a big snap caught there, although I don't go all that often.

Would I be better off fishing into that smaller area or into the main river if I wanted the chance of a big snapper/mulloway? Or is it good to go in the middle and maybe have a rod on each side?

Yeah I have seen some BIG snaps caught off lagoon - such a great little pier!

Good luck - ill report here if i pick up any big reds in the coming weeks
