last week snapper report

Post by fitzy90 » Tue Nov 01, 2016 11:37 am

Had a bit of luck the last week on the snapper in northern ppb.
Fished 5 sessions last week around the willy / port melbourne area for 13 snapper with some big ones thrown in, best catches have been 6.2, 6.5 and a 7.2 kg , most of the other fish have been around the 3 - 4kg mark.
Best baits have surprisingly been pillies with all but one of the bigger fish not being caught on Vancouver bait pillies. Water temp still around the 15 degree mark so hopefully more fish to come once the water warms up a bit.

Well done buddy. Have yet to have a bite in PPB. All my snapper this season has been from WP.
