I haven't compared it with anything else as they're the only scales I have that can measure fish > 1kg. My kitchen scales are rated to 5kg but doesn't give reliable readings when the fish is too big to sit properly on the scales. The reviews on the link I posted are mostly positive re: accuracy.

It also reads temperature, that's how I knew it was 6 degrees at Brighton on Friday night. :cold:

I was there on Friday night and it felt like 6 degrees haha accurate

Caught my first Melbourne land based Snapper for the 2013 season tonight in Port Melbourne @6:45 pm on a fresh squid strip.
