this is more of a rant than an actual review but I felt so salty after shopping there it actually made me want to rant it somewhere

I went to buy some leader and squid jigs for this weekend and I thought complete anglers would be a pretty good choice since I have been there a couple of times and the service was great. so I head down there, was greeted and got some advice on what leader would be good. then the problem occurred. I was looking at some squid jigs and walking around only to be accused of stealing on of their jigs. Probably should have just walked away at this point but I got what I wanted and bought my stuff only to have my bag checked again. The way he treated me was just unprofessional and didn't even owe me an apology for a accusing me. The guy probably still thinks I stole something.

Yeah I hate that, it has happened to me not at ca but elsewhere! We must just have one of those "this guy is up to something" faces

Until you walk out of store can not be classed as stealing.

I agree that it is wrong to be accused of doing something that you did not do.

However, I suspect that they may had a surge in shop lifting, One of my Uncles owns a Auto spare parts business, and often they don't find out stock is missing until they do stock take. People will even put empty boxes back.

I was in a tackle store today and he track my every movement as I browsed.

well so the guy basically came up to me and said give me the line and the squid jig that i was magically holding somewhere.
so i was a bit salty already of being accused in the first place because this wasn't like the Big W can i check your bag but i know your hiding something kind of check your bag.
so he just asked for my bag he went through my belongs and said nothing more

but its just the way he handled it. he was 300% sure i had stolen something. i didnt know if i was a customer or being interrogated by a police

F that go back...he can't go thru your bag...I'd put in complaint....next time tell him to call police....

Yeah that's pretty full on! I'd probably have just said no! I have been accused of stealing before n it really grinds my gears.. If I got busted then so be it but man to be accused of something u didn't do ahhhh man it really erks me
