I am in this catagory.

I bought about $300 worth of them for something like $50 at a BCF sale a while back. I got all different colours and sizes but in the limited time ive had to use them i have not caught anything yet. I certainly havent given up on them though.

I can't say I have ever used any squid shaped soft plastics, I think though that a small natural white-patterned squid soft plastic that was neutral buoyancy would be pretty fire. Just picture it sitting a foot or two sitting above weed with some small twitches.
