Switching Trebles to Singles

Hey guys,
I have a Strikepro Cyber vibe 35 lure in the A18 colour, and im wanting to change the trebles to singles. Can you help point me to the correct size hooks i should be changing them to?

why do you need to change to singles?
Trebles are best on vibes/blades IMO
if you want to still try singles then use the ecogear zx30 trailer hooks that are available in most good tackleshops

good rule of thumb i go by is to pick a hook gape on the single that matches the "width" created by two prongs on the treble. it really shouldn't matter on a blade or vibe as they sink, but keep in mind for floating and suspending lures, a different set of hooks can affect the action and bouyancy

As mentioned in the first reply if you are going to swap them out with singles best to retrofit them out with the Ecogear ZX hooks. It does work well when there is small debris on the bottom.

whats your reason to go singles?
unless your trolling the blade i dont find it makes any difference.
i keep trebeles because the hookup rate for me is a lot better because of the way i fish them.
then ofcourse theres the snag resistant option with singles, but seriously the 35mm is so small that a single hook is amost useless compared to a smaller treble hook

im yet to damage a fish (mainly bream) beyond the usual Minor ripped lips by using trebles. once the bream get big they can easily crush trebles, and a single hook so small will generally be fine gauge and will just get crunched.
i would just stick with trebles, as for how i fish them just generally hop them off the bottom, but you have to vary retrieves to see what they want on the day.

I've found singles have an almost 100% hold on rate compared to trebles which tend to drop fish more often...especially if they jump. Hook up rate is acceptable, I mostly use them trolling and casting for trout.
