Is braid absolutely necessary for soft plastics?
Looking to give soft plastics another go... is braid line absolutely necessary, or is it possible to use just fluro carbon line?

Braid is the best option for soft plastics in my opinion. It allows greater feel and control and may be the difference between hooking up to a fish or not.

fishing soft plastics with mono/fluorocarbon is like watching a blue ray movie on a black and white television.
