One of my most successful jigs has been a Yamashita 3.0 red foil with a purple cloth on top. However I think alot of success comes down to how much 'action' you impart on the jig after casting it into the water. By this, I mean how much the jig is worked and darts in the water column may or will attract the squid and then ultimately take it

I have found on some days colours matter, where there's a few on the boat fishing he same jig (brand and size) and only one person is catching swap over to the same colour and puzzle solved. On some days more action works, and on others letting it drag behind a drifting boat kills it. And on some days it doesn't matter what you throw.
My faves in terms of Colour are Harimitsu EF & AK / Rui's Pinkie, glow banana, AK48, KR 39, White Clear Glow /Megabass Tribal Pink / Yamashita QSK (original).

i tried all colours the other day and only managed 2 cuttlefish on the white one and that was it.
