Printing lures

Post by HarryS11 » Wed Mar 18, 2015 9:28 am

Does anyone know of people printing lures with a 3d printer, I found this on it and thought it would be interesting to try it. http://www.fishingmonthly.com.au/Articl ... D-printing

You could leave your printer going while you go fishing so you can come home to some new lures. lol

It certainly is a great invention.

If you can combine it with a partner who does nail airbrushing you could be making very good lures very cheaply.

I'll look into it in a few years when it becomes a lot cheaper to buy into. Like any new technology it will drop in price in a huge way. But sub $1 unpainted lures is a good thing for the end user. Plenty of silent hardbodies that could be copied easily enough.

What the duckster said. WTB cheap slugs. even at $5 a piece it's doing me some damage.

If you can print in a suitable material, printing lures would be a great way to get a small business off the ground.
