Lure retrievers?
Just wondering if anyone uses lure retrievers and what are some favourite methods?
I have been known to jump in after them if its not too cold and I don't want to loose it!
As a kid I used to swim the snags in the murray and find lots of snagged lures!
Cheers!

Re: Lure retrievers?
Don't personally own one but this article does a pretty good job of covering the pros and cons of each type.

Re: Lure retrievers?
I carry a 250gm Tackleback-style retriever in my fishing backpack, and it's saved me $$$ and been able to help other fishos out with it too.

Re: Lure retrievers?
I have both the 250g and 125g asari. Both work but I find the lighter one much better for landbased use from the bank. If it's too heavy and/or the lure is far from the bank then the retriever often hits bottom before it can get out to the lure. Still, I get 95% back and it's saved me a ton of cash - I wouldn't go fishing without one now.
