Treble hooks with feathers

Post by Boonanza » Sun Oct 21, 2018 2:12 pm

I've been trying to find some treble hooks with feathers like the one pictured to replace on some old spinners. Does anyone know where I might be able to find some locally I don't want to buy chinese crap. Cheers

Drop into a reject shop or similar. I bought a bag of feathers from a craft shop and bound them myself. Some cotton and some nail polish.

I remember as a kid we would collect feathers that were on the ground from Galahs and other parrots as we were fishing and my old man would glue them on later but I didn't think of just buying feathers good idea Murlz thanks mate

It is a good idea

Might stick a few to a couple gama 8/0 circles and see what the results are like

Murlz is right, but, you have the stuff at home
Feathers from one of your old boa's, you've got plenty of nail polish & food dye from when your baking or I could give you some of mine
I have some secquine material also, if that's any good
Cheers Gra
