No idea on the PE but it is crap braid.

Plenty of decent braid that is not too exy in price. For example Stern. Or if you buy bulk spools.

Fins is decent if you are buying a reel from tackleworld they often will spool it with Fins at a good price.

Whats the difference between good braid and bad braid? Is berkeley fireline exceed any good?
If not, are there any you could recommend for 30-40$? Tight budget lol

Anaconda has it at $30 for 150m starting tomorrow. It's about 35-40 at the other places that where top results for a google search

yeah mate drop down to 10lb braid for the softplastics i would grab some sunline super pe8 i bought the shimano kairiki braid when it first came out the colour fades pretty quick and frays on the sides i like powerpro for heavyer applications its a great workhorse but nowhere as slick as the sunline but thats my opinion all my reels are loaded with braid

Do you know the diameter of 10lb kairiki and 10lb sunline? Trying to compare it to the hercules

Karaiki is 0.15mm. The thickness of the Hercules isn’t listed on the website. You should email their customer service page and ask the question.

Annaconda had some spider wire n fireline for 10 bucks ...if ya just starting out spider wire would be fine n cheap....
