Rovex D8 braid

Post by Brownie » Fri Jan 26, 2018 9:03 pm

Hi guys. New here, hi to you all.
Did a search here but nothing came up. Was wondering if anyone has used or uses Rovex D8 braid. I usually use Spider Wire stealth or Stren Microfuse but came across the D8 for 20 bucks a spool. Seemed pretty good price for an 8 strand, I think. Anybody know anything about it?

not sure on how good rovex is but would not assume the best as is sometimes given out for free with reels, but can't say on qual.

cheers

Rovex, jarvis walker, kato and the like is mostly cheap trash. Spend as much as you can afford as good braid should last at least 5 years. I have braid 10 years old and still going (FINS). Good braid is less likely to get wind knots when casting, tends to have a higher braking strain to diameter and won't fray like cheaper versions. Fleabay has many bargains of quality braid at better than tackle shop prices. I get top quality Jap braid for $65 delivered but it cost $130 here.
