It's mono. It stretches and is a lot more forgiving than braid. I'd happily give someone who hasn't fished ever a decent fish on 15

Ok. So changed my mind on the sonic pro /sienna /karikai combo.

Anaconda were having a clearout of their graphite rods for $20 each. So i bought a few of them. Excahnged the shimano gear to bcf (nothing was used or opened) for 4 sienna reels which were pricematched to dinga ($45each)
Also got the daiwa shinobi 30lb braid (that's the only size available) for $10 each.
Which effectively puts the whole combo at $75 each.
That saves me $25 on each of the shimano offer that i went for previously..
Ill get some.mono as well.for backup..
These rods are rated to 4-8kg and should be ok on the snapper. Bonus being it can easily double as a plastics rod or a whiting rod. Its quite thin for its rating so lets see how we go. At the price i got them for. I bought them to break them pretty.much..

Had a $10 voucher from.bcf as well so got the net and a daiwa hat as well

Nice cheap rods, only issue is they will not sit great in a snapper rack....
Bought my first silstar combo power tip ,if they work ok will get another combo 69 plus mono 10
