Why does my broad keep breaking at the leader knot?

Hi
Today I tried setting up a new outfit a shimano stadic fx 4000 and 15 to 30lb terez rod with 20lb super pe braid and joining it to a 30lb rovex fluorocarbon leader.
I tried the double uni knot but when the knit pulls up really tight the braid brakes?

Its my bait rod so is there a need for a mono leader?
Or what's a Easter knot to try?

If you're talking about that way i wouldn't recommend a beginner doing it that way. I know of many people that don't do it properly and it slips off the leader.

After understanding the knot and how it works by doing it the original way and pulling the crosses down tight every few times
then you can start doing it the quick way.

I guarantee you, with this bloke being new to the knot, wont do it properly and it will slip.
