Post by Nude up » Fri Jun 05, 2015 5:47 pm

I did a favour for a mate that required me to melt some lead for him so while I was at it I knocked out a few sinkers to top up my stock prior to the next snapper season 1oz, 2oz, 3oz, 4oz, 6oz, 8oz, 10oz and 12oz.
Plenty now bring on sept

Any idea roughly how much $$$$ you would save by making this batch yourself?

I have never thought about it jim I think this year I might keep a record of how many I lose over a season. Its the big ones that hurt when you lose them 12oz of lead eats into my stock.[

Living out west I rarely go towards carrum geelong, werribee, rickets point area, queenscliff and portarlington its a long run from st kilda to carrum I have been put off driving there due to ramp congestion.
Having a mate with a house in cowes is a great bonus I spend a lot of time there so much I am contemplating joing the rhyll angling club for the cheap beers.
