Phil, depending on what reel you have in mind.
For threadlines, tappered shocky is the way to go and for overhear can pretty much run anything from 30lbs to 80lbs

Hey mick. Its just a shimano 4500. So just some basic leader for it. But Im wanting to respool the abu 7000 so I might go abit better on that. by the way Im still looking for a casting field. Lol cheers
