I've used J Braid grand for over a year now, pretty good stuff and really nice to cast. I heard the normal J Braid is the one with problems though.

Yeah have got it on a biomaster 5k. Absolutely love it. Have used some nice braids over the journey. Megabass dragon call. Toray seabass powergame amongst others. Tasline is superior.mazman wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 7:00 pmYou'll love the tasline, I've been running it for years and have had absolutely no issues and got a huge lifespan out of itducky wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 5:09 pmFeeling it in store and reading dozens of reviews of it holding water and generally not being worth the money it’s sold for.
I buy my braid direct from Japan generally speaking. Every few years When there’s a sale on I’ll buy 10 spoils of a good braid and stick it in a box until I need it.
On my new stuff I buy I’ll run tasline to support a mates business venture.
I gave it a go since I had nothing to lose. It's not like I go fishing a lot, I still have to finish my exams. But hopefully once it arrives I will test it out .purple5ive wrote: ↑Fri Nov 13, 2020 8:42 amfor the price of jbraid locally i would just buy it from here rather than wait over a month for it to turn up at half the price.
daiwa is now offering free braid scissors with the jbraid as well now, so missed out on that too.
ive been using the Shimano Kairiki X4 braid for a month now and so far its been good to me.
heard a lot of good things about tasline, yet to try it.
